We asked Dr Jamie Turner, Professor of Engines and Energy systems at the University of Bath, to take a look at Mazda’s Skyactiv engine technology including the revolutionary Skyactiv-X Spark Controlled Compression Ignition SPCCI engine.
The Skyactiv-X engine will make its debut in the All-New Mazda3 in the autumn of 2019. Across the entire Mazda range, ‘right-sized’ Skyactiv-G petrol and Skyactiv-D diesel engines continue to win praise from media and customers alike.
