Lucky customer wins £22,525 all-new Mazda6 for ‘free’

45-year old chartered accountant wins Mazda6 in Prize Draw competition

One lucky buyer of the all-new Mazda6 will be receiving their brand new car free-of-charge now that the winner of the Mazda6 Prize Draw competition has been declared. Wilmslow resident Mr Kelly Moses will be enjoying an especially ‘Happy New Year’ as the 45-year old chartered accountant has won the £22,525 Mazda6 SE-L Tourer which he pre-ordered in December 2012.

“This is a truly fantastic way to start the new year,” enthused Mr Moses. “My wife and I agreed that the new Mazda6 is a very, very stylish car with tremendous visual appeal, especially when finished in the stunning Soul Red colour. We are certainly pleased with our current Mazda6, but quickly decided after a brief test drive to replace it with the latest model which also has a great interior and plenty of practicality to cater for the needs of our young family. Now, I’m really looking forward to collecting my ‘free’ brand new Mazda6 from RRG Mazda later this month.”

As part of the build-up for the arrival of the all-new Mazda6, on sale from 25 January, Mazda announced last November that all retail customers who pre-ordered the new model on or before 31 December 2012 would be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win their new car (worth up to £30,405) free-of-charge.

“Our dealers are reporting an overwhelmingly positive response from showroom visitors to the all-new Mazda6 prior to its official launch,” comments Peter Allibon, Sales Director, Mazda Motors UK. “Genuinely all-new in every area of their design and engineering, with fuel economy as high as 67.3mpg and emissions as low as 108g/km – without any sacrifice in performance – the new Mazda6 saloon and tourer are destined to rapidly become their class leaders during 2013.”

Mazda’s 140 dealers across the UK are offering a choice of 36 Mazda6 saloon and tourer models priced from £19,595 to £28,045 on-the-road (OTR) to order for delivery from 25 January 2013. Six equipment levels (SE, SE-L and Sport – with or without Satellite Navigation) and four high-efficiency SKYACTIV diesel and petrol powertrains (from 145 to 175ps) with six-speed automatic or manual transmissions are available.

All Mazda6 retail customers who register their car before 31 March 2013 can benefit from competitive low-rate finance, a deposit contribution and for existing Mazda owners, a loyalty saving.

Customers buying their all-new Mazda6 on PCP or Conditional Sale will be offered finance at Representative 5.9% APR (over a 24, 30, 36 or 42-month period with no deposit required) and a £500 Mazda deposit contribution with PCP finance. All current Mazda owners will also be entitled to a further £250 ‘loyalty saving’ off the OTR price and no part-exchange is required.

All-new Mazda6 is the second of Mazda’s new generation of products, following the Mazda CX-5 compact SUV, which incorporates both the full range of SKYACTIV technologies and the new KODO – Soul of Motion design theme. It will be the Japanese brand’s first vehicle to feature the company’s unique brake energy regeneration system – i-ELOOP – the first car system to use a capacitor.

Inside all-new Mazda6, form meets function in a highly ergonomic cockpit designed to make driving as enjoyably and engaging as possible. Everything is exactly where it should be: even the repositioned A-pillars, moved rearwards relative to the current model, contribute to a stress-free experience by widening the driver’s field of view. Passengers will appreciate the relaxing atmosphere in the cabin, which features segment-leading space, accompanied by the latest infotainment technology, including an 11-speaker Bose® surround sound audio system in Sport models.
