With demand for veterans mental health support continuing to rise, Mazda UK has strengthened its commitment to the British Armed Forces by supporting veterans’ mental health charity, Combat Stress, with the use of the Mazda6 Tourer as a support vehicle for the charity’s life-saving services.
As the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health, Combat Stress offers a range of free services through treatment centres and regional community teams to help former members of the British Armed Forced rebuild their lives; including short-stay clinical treatment, a specialist Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Intensive Treatment Programme, Peer Support Service and occupational therapy.
Making full use of the spacious Mazda6 Tourer and its fuel economy credentials, the eye-catching support vehicle has been wrapped with the charity’s logo and the free dedicated 24 hour helpline to raise awareness in hard to reach communities across the UK.
Since 1919, Combat Stress has provided vital support to veterans from every service and conflict, and with an average of more than 2,000 new referrals each year, the demand for the charity’s service remains high and the Mazda6 plays a crucial role to ensure charity staff are able to continue their life-changing services.
