Mazda customers are switching rapidly to Mazda’s own recently-launched new insurance scheme appreciating the benefits that a manufacturer-approved insurance brings.
“People buy car insurance on price, yet still assume their car will have a repair carried out using manufacturer repair methods, by trained personnel and using only genuine parts. This is often not the case. A repaired car will always look good on the outside but may not perform to factory standards, under the skin of the car, if involved in another collision. With Mazda Insurance customers get everything they expect and is very competitively priced,” explained Mazda Motors UK Aftersales Director David Wilson-Green.
“Mazda Insurance guarantees accident damage is repaired in an approved bodyshop using the correct methodology and with genuine parts, preserving original build integrity and warranty eligibility so it will again meet 5-star Euro NCAP crash standards,” he said.
Since the launch of the new Mazda insurance scheme, new owners who drive away from their dealer with a free seven-day insurance cover note and subsequently taking out Mazda Insurance by calling 0800 316 3096, has increased six fold.
“It’s an important part of the jigsaw for us and our relationship with our customers,” said Wilson-Green.
Plus it’s also great news for the dealer network because they are guaranteed the parts business and if a car has to be written-off, the original selling dealer is fully integrated in the process so can supply the replacement vehicle.
The new insurance service is run by Verex Group who also operate ‘Call Mazda First’, the trendsetting accident response service which has been helping Mazda owners out of trouble since it was launched more than four years ago, at the time, a first for the car industry.
Call Mazda First takes the stress out of an accident or vehicle theft through hassle-free accident aftercare and is a service available to every Mazda owner, however old their car. Mazda drivers simply call one telephone number 0800 015 0367 and their claim will be managed by experienced professionals who will liaise with insurers, ensure a courtesy car is provided and minimise the burden associated with insurance claims – all free-of-charge.
