Welcome to the Mazda Blog

The decision we made five years ago to invest in SKYACTIV has meant lean times, but now it’s starting to pay off…

There’s no doubt that as a company, we have taken a huge step forwards with the successful introduction of Mazda SKYACTIV technology.

Not only has it helped us launch two brilliant new cars that lead the market in terms of technology, running costs and drivability, there’s so much more to come.

Our customers, and our dealers are beginning to reap the cost benefits of SKYACTIV, and this will continue as we launch more and more new cars with the kind of market-leading qualities we’ve already seen on the award winning Mazda CX-5, and the new Mazda6.

Both cars are the first to feature the full suite of Mazda’s SKYACTIV technology, which as well as bringing efficiency, emissions and weight-saving benefits to you as drivers, also helps us produced the cars more efficiently, allowing us to get back to doing what we love the most, investing in our cars, business and technology to benefit the customer.

Because of those improvements to efficiency, the pace with which we plan to launch new cars in the near future will not slow down.

We will replace our entire range of cars by 2016, all with SKYACTIV technology.  You have already seen the new CX-5 and the Mazda6 Saloon and Estate and you may have heard rumours about new Mazda3. While I can’t confirm or deny the speculation, I can promise you that our next steps will be just as exciting, and revolutionary as those that we have just taken.

And new for 2013, I’ll also be keeping you right up to date with those developments through mazdasocial.co.uk, the new Mazda blog.

If you have any thoughts you’d like to share, or want to ask any questions, this is a great place to do it. Leave a comment on this page, and I’ll get back to you as quickly as possible. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes
