Run by Autocar Magazine in association with the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), the industry’s top 100 were announced online during a digital event on the 16th September.

For the first time this year, the initiative recognises both foreign nationals based in Britain and working in the car industry, as well as all British passport holders working anywhere in the global car industry.

As in previous years, the top 100 women were selected from the following areas of the car industry: Aftersales and workshop, Executive, Marketing, Manufacturing, Operations, People development, PR and communications, Sales, Vehicle development, Mobility, Digital and Apprentices.

From Mazda UK, Marketing Director Claire Andrews was nominated in the Marketing category, and Head of Retail Operations Laura Brailey in the Manufacturers’ Sales section.
