I. Production

1. Domestic Production
Mazda’s domestic production volume in August 2022 increased 118.3% year on year due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

CX-5: 32,485 units (up 180.1% year on year)
CX-9: 6,414 units (up 411.9%)
MAZDA6: 3,747 units (up 109.3%)
2. Overseas Production
Mazda’s overseas production volume in August 2022 increased 72.8% year on year due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

MAZDA2: 6,523 units (up 307.4%)
MAZDA3: 6,218 units (up 6.4%)
II. Domestic Sales
Mazda’s domestic sales volume in August 2022 increased 18.2% year on year due to increased sales of passenger and commercial vehicles.
Mazda’s registered vehicle market share was 5.7% (up 1.7 points year on year), with a 2.0% share of the micro-mini segment (unchanged) and a 4.3% total market share (up 1.0 points).

CX-30: 1,209 units (up 59.3%）
III. Exports
Mazda’s export volume in August 2022 increased 17.7% year on year due mainly to increased shipments to markets other than North America, Europe and Oceania.
