Mazda offers nil advance payment and great value for Motability drivers

Mazda gives its Motability programme a major boost with the introduction of a series of improved offers

Mazda has given its Motability programme a major boost this spring with the introduction of a series of improved offers, including nil advance payments on a wider range of models, until 30 June.

Models from the best-selling Mazda2 and popular Mazda3, Mazda5 and iconic MX-5 sportscar ranges are all available through the brand’s Motability programme, with two Mazda3 Tamura models (1.6 petrol manual and automatic) now available with nil advance payment. In the spirit of its ‘defy convention’ brand, Mazda also offers the soft-top Mazda MX-5 1.8-litre 126ps SE Air Con with an advanced payment of just £199.

“Our upgraded Motability offers represent a real improvement, with many more models now available with nil advance payments, providing existing customers with a compelling reason to stay with the Mazda brand,” comments Mazda Head of Fleet Steve Tomlinson.

“Additionally, we are confident that the choice of models available – including the Mazda2 and Mazda3 automatics will open the door to the Mazda brand for many Motability customers for the first time.”

“We are positive that the new offers will be highly attractive to existing and new customers, increasing showroom footfall and giving the Mazda dealer network a much more aggressive conquest offer,” adds Tomlinson.

This spring, Motability customers can benefit from Mazda’s automatic models such as the generously specified Mazda3 Tamura, one of just four C-segment cars available on the government’s Motability scheme with the benefit of no advanced payment.

Standard specification on the Mazda3 Tamura includes 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control air-conditioning, rear roof spoiler and electric windows. Move up the range and specification can include: sports heated front seats, rear parking sensors, cruise control, and a fully integrated TomTom satellite navigation. Fuel economy of the Mazda3 range is up to 65.7mpg (combined cycle).

The Mazda MX-5 is the world’s best-selling sportscar, the 1.8-litre 126ps SE Air Con soft-top returns 39.8mpg (combined cycle) and is available with an advanced payment of just £199. The multi award-winning roadster’s specification includes 16-inch alloy wheels, electric windows, climate control air-conditioning and integrated steering wheel audio controls.

Spaciousness and practicality are key considerations for many Motability customers and that plays to the strengths of the seven-seat Mazda5 Venture MPV. Available with an advanced payment of £1,999, the Mazda5 Venture’s sliding doors aid access to the two rows of rear seats and load area. There is the choice of a MZR 2.0-litre 150ps petrol engine returning 40.9mpg and a 1.6-litre 115ps diesel engine returning 54.3mpg. Specification includes 17-inch Bright alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, reversing camera, climate control air-conditioning, cruise control and a fully integrated TomTom satellite navigation system.

Full benefits of the Mazda Motability scheme include three years insurance, servicing, maintenance and road fund licence, plus full RAC breakdown assistance.
